Mossfern Gate is an independent editorial travel-planning guide to the Pacific Rim coast of Vancouver Island. We are not Parks Canada, not a tour operator, not a booking agent, and not affiliated with any business named on this site unless explicitly stated.
The Coast Clock is a planning aid, not an official source
The Coast Clock tide, daylight, and access-window tool is a planning model only. It never replaces official Fisheries and Oceans Canada tide tables, current Parks Canada bulletins, or your own judgment on site. Conditions can differ from the model, particularly during storms or unusual swell.
Accuracy
We make a genuine effort to keep trail distances, hours, seasonal dates, and safety information accurate and current, sourced from official agencies where possible. Facts can change without notice; always verify anything safety-critical with the official source before you travel.
No liability for your trip
Outdoor travel on an exposed coastline carries inherent risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mossfern Gate is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of this site or your trip.
